Weddingbells x WNF
When Editor-In-Chief of Weddingbells Magazine, Alison McGill, contacted us at the end of May about the possibility of a photoshoot for the Fall & Winter 2020 issue, we couldn't wait to hear more about her plans. We had been STARVED for contact with the outside wedding world with all events, photoshoots, and weddings being postponed for the foreseeable future at that time. Luckily, Alison was able to coordinate a socially distanced shoot when it was safe to do so, just in time for an August launch of the new issue! The theme of this shoot was 'simplicity with pops of vibrant colours' (because we all needed it in our lives!). Alison referenced one of our arrangements by a Senior Designer at WNF, Laurie, and our Lead Wedding Designer, Mackenzie, ran with it, expanding on the use of colour and form within the rest of the florals. The creative team involved was perfection with Alison at the creative production helm. Fun fact - Aluad, not only modelled all of the gowns flawlessly and effortlessly, she was also her own makeup and hair artist under the creative direction of Jane McKay (senior national artist, Canada for MAC Cosmetics), in an effort to keep the set socially distanced!

We are obsessed with the results and know you will be too! Here are some of our favourite photos shot by the amazing Alvaro Goveia. For the rest of the article and more stunning gowns, pick up your copy today or get it on Apple News+!!

Enjoy!!
